The limited block of tickets is expected to go fast based on sales that occurred shortly after the Class of 2016 was elected. When tickets initially were placed on sale in February, the Enshrinement Ceremony sold out in 11 minutes and the NFL/Hall of Fame Game in less than three hours.
The additional tickets became available after the configuration of the new north stands at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium was recently finalized. The first phase of the new stadium will be completed in mid-July and is part of Hall of Fame Village, a $500 million development project of the Hall’s campus. Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium now includes a permanent built-in stage that will be host to the “Concert for Legends” featuring Tim McGraw with the opening by Runaway June on Friday, Aug. 5. One night later, the Class of 2016 – Edward J. DeBartolo, Jr., Tony Dungy, Brett Favre, Kevin Greene, Marvin Harrison, Orlando Pace, Ken Stabler and Dick Stanfel – will be formally enshrined. The week is capped by the NFL/Hall of Fame Game as the Green Bay Packers and Indianapolis Colts kick off the preseason in Canton.
