Guest have watched movies like “Greater” and “Gleason” and now in its third year of showing, the NFL Network Emmy Award winning series "A Football Life" will kick-off it’s 2016 season premiere, starring Gold Jacket Curtis Martin, on Saturday (Sept. 17).
This week’s episode profiles the life and career of Martin. The film is a one-hour documentary takes you behind the scenes and provides an unprecedented access into the life of the Hall of Fame running back.
“A Football Life: Curtis Martin” will be shown continuously from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday at the Hall of Fame. This will be the first screening of many this year as the Hall will show the entire sixth season of the popular series at the museum throughout the NFL season.
Martin was enshrined into the Hall of Fame in 2012. He retired after the 2005 season as the fourth leading rusher of all-time 14,101 yards. He also was only the second player in NFL history to start his career with 10 straight 1,000-yard rushing seasons.
This season’s episodes of “A Football Life” will profile various Pro Football Hall of Famers including two Class of 2016 enshrinees, as well as numerous Legends of the Game. The series tells the stories of how the legacy of each of these players and coaches will be forever be intertwined in the fabric of the Game’s history. The series aligns with the Hall of Fame’s mission to “Honor the Heroes of the Game, Preserve its History, Promote its Values, & Celebrate Excellence EVERYWHERE.”

First Energy Stadium, home of the Cleveland Browns, has a new statue. On Sunday, before the Browns kicked off their Home Opener against the Baltimore Ravens, the Brown and Orange paid homage to one of their heroes of the game. Hall of Famer Jim Brown will be forever memorized. His life-like statue will stand majestically in front of First Energy Stadium, for fans to marvel.
Orlando Pace And Other Rams Hall of Famers To Receive Ring of Excellence in L.A. Sunday
The Pro Football Hall of Fame and Kay® Jewelers, the Official Jewelry Store of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, will honor Class of 2016 enshrinee ORLANDO PACE and other Hall of Famers from the Rams, during a special halftime presentation at the team’s regular season opener against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday afternoon. The game marks the return of the Rams to Los Angeles, the city where the team called home from 1946 to 1994.
