The world lost one of the greatest golfers on Sunday. Arnold Palmer passed away at the age of 87.

Legendary announcer and winner of the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Pete Rozelle Radio-Television Award Jim Nantz recently gave a touching tribute to Arnold Palmer at his public memorial. Watch here>>>

Palmer was a big fan of football and would frequently attend both NFL and Wake Forest college games, since he attended the university, throughout his life. He was especially close with Hall of Famers who played on the Pittsburgh Steelers team, including Lynn Swann. He was born in Latrobe, PA and lived in Pittsburgh for many years.

The Gold Jackets (living Pro Football Hall of Famers) and the NFL community reacted to his death on social media to pay tribute “The King.”
