Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium to Open at 2017 Enshrinement Week
The new Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium, a spectacular one-of-a-kind sports and entertainment complex, will debut during the 2017 Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Week Powered by Johnson Controls.
Fans attending the 2017 Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Week Powered by Johnson Controls will enjoy great new amenities at the stadium, that was recently profiled among “13 Game-Changing NFL Stadiums” by Forbes.
The venue, upon completion of the current phase of construction next summer, will feature a new NFL caliber press box that also includes world-class hospitality experiences in a variety of settings that provide patrons with a spectacular view overlooking Johnson Controls Hall of Fame Village, a nearly $600 million project underway to transform the Hall’s campus.
- A new club seating level featuring nearly 900 gold colored seats will be positioned at the first level of the press box and provides a direct site line to the field and one-of-a-kind stage centered in the north stands.
- A VIP Lounge for 50 guests offers a unique space with incredible views of the stadium and can be configured as a lounge, banquet or dining area.
- Luxury suites will provide premium seating and great site lines for all stadium events, as well as feature flat screen TVs and upscale catering.
- The Sky Level sits atop the press box and features a sprawling terrace overlooking the entire stadium. The one-of-a-kind experience can accommodate up to 250 guests.
- The new west end zone will be home to five event terraces that offer unique experiences in a casual outdoor party setting with food and beverage catering.

For all of the records that has survived throughout the rich history of the National Football League, Pro Football Hall of Fame fullback Ernie Nevers scored every one of the team’s points (six touchdowns and four extra point conversions) in a blowout 40-6 victory over the Chicago Bears. However, 40 years ago to the date, Gold Jacket Gale Sayers tied Nevers’ single game touchdown record.
