Morten Andersen, Terrell Davis and Jason Taylor Make Initial Visits to the Hall
Life has been a whirlwind for the new members of the Class of 2017 since their election. The class has been busy planning for August, which includes a trip to the Hall of Fame for a site visit.
Jason Taylor, Morten Andersen and Terrell Davis all made their way to Canton to continue prepping for their Enshrinement.
The first thing they saw as he drove down 2121 George Halas Drive was the "Hall of Famers" image with the entire Class of 2017 mural hanging on the front of the Pro Football Hall of Fame for millions of visitors to see.
Upon entry into the museum, the Class was immediately greeted by Hall of Fame staff with applause, which overwhelmed the Hall of Famers with emotion, especially Andersen.
Hall of Fame President David Baker gave the group a personal tour of Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium and the stage where they will give their enshrinement speeches.
They were then briefed by HOF Executives about their Enshrinement speeches, the schedule of events and a description of each event during Enshrinement Week Powered by Johnson Controls and other details pertaining to the week.
After that, they received a guided tour of the Hall of Fame, including a behind-the-scenes look at the Hall's extensive archives. They were able to see artifacts from the Hall of Fame’s collection and a few of the rarest documents from pro football’s history. They were also able to see a Game for Life – a holographic theatre.
They will be officially Enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Aug. 5, 2017.
Individual tickets for the Enshrinement Week Powered by Johnson Controls will be available on March 31. Enshrinement packages and class merchandise are available now!
