"Gold Jacket Saturdays" Continue with Dan Hampton on July 8 at the Hall

Hall of Famer DAN HAMPTON will be at the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday, July 8 for the Hall’s fourth “Gold Jacket Saturday” of 2017. Fans will have the opportunity to meet Hampton and take a photo with the Hall of Fame defensive lineman. The spectacular event is included in the price of admission.

The meet and greet portion of the event is open to all guests who purchase admission into the museum on a first-come, first-served basis. Spaces will be limited due to time constraints and only guests with wristbands will be permitted in for the photo-op. Wristbands for the event will be handed out at the Hall of Fame Box Office beginning at 9 a.m. A professional photographer will be taking pictures that can be purchased or fans may take a photo with their personal cell phone or camera. Autographs are not permitted.

All Hall of Fame Members are invited to attend a private, pre-event, Gold Jacket Chalk Talk with Hampton at 10 a.m. that day. Members will get an intimate glimpse into the life and career of Hampton during the exclusive session. The Chalk Talk is limited to the first 100 members who RSVP with preregistration closing Wednesday, July 5 at noon. Members will then be admitted first into the meet and greet session at 11 a.m. Additionally, they will receive a free professionally printed picture of their experience after the event.

Hampton was selected by the Chicago Bears as the fourth overall pick in the 1979 NFL Draft. He was a versatile player, playing both defensive tackle and defensive end making an immediate impact as a rookie. He earned the nickname “Danimal” for his ferocious style of play. Hampton earned election to four Pro Bowls and was named first-or-second-team All-Pro six times.
