Hall of Famer Mike Haynes Raising Prostate Cancer Awareness
Gold Jacket Mike Haynes' toughest battle wasn’t on the field - it was against prostate cancer. Haynes was diagnosed with the disease in 2008 after a screening at the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
After surviving, Haynes made it his mission to help others and make sure men understand the early signs of the cancer to help detect it early. He has worked closely with the NFL and countless urologists throughout the country as an ambassador for the Urology Care Foundation’s “Know Your Stats” awareness campaign.
