Today in Football History (1/26): Super Bowl XXXI
The Vince Lombardi Trophy returned to Green Bay for the first time in 29 years when the Packers defeated the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XXXI on Jan. 26, 1997. This game-used ball is signed by then Packers head coach Mike Holmgren and Super Bowl XXXI MVP Desmond Howard.
