HOF Artifact of the Week
This week's artifact is the hand strengthener used by John Randle He used it during his professional football career with the Minnesota Vikings from 1990-2000 and the Seattle Seahawks 2001-03. Randle had 137.5 career sacks, the most official NFL sacks ever by a Defensive Tackle at the time. His finest season came in 1997 when he led the NFL with 15.5 sacks and recorded 71 tackles. Randle was known for his face paint and enthusiasm on the field and at practice. His teammates and coaches marveled the maximum effort or “motor” he gave on every play and every rep in practice.
Jim Kelly undergoes follow-up surgery
Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly's road to recovery from oral cancer included another surgery Thursday in New York City.
