Gold Jacket Walter Jones Visits FSU
Hall of Famer Walter Jones returned to Florida State for Homecoming.
Prior to Saturday's game, Jones took in a practice and took time with the offensive line - where he played as a Seminole in 1996 after redshirting in 1995.
Feels good to be back at @FSUFootball and be made felt welcome by this group of #Seminoles. Thank you @CoachTaggart for allowing me to share a word with the hogs. Mostly, thank you for leading the future of our program and ensuring they are more than just players. #GoNoles pic.twitter.com/X3ZjIUwLVU

After leaving FSU, Jones was selected No. 6 overall in the first round of the 1997 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks. He would play with them from 1997 to 2009. He was a nine-time Pro Bowl participant and named to the NFL's 2000 All-Decade Team.
He was elected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2014. He was selected in his first year of eligibility.

The fact that Vinatieri is still knocking the football through the uprights with outstanding accuracy at the age of 45 is somewhat remarkable.
