Super Fans, Super Experience of a Lifetime
This past fall, the Pro Football Hall of Fame ran a sweepstakes with the Grand Prize being an all-inclusive trip for two to Super Bowl Week in Miami, FL.
From the thousands that entered, a random winner was selected. Pittsburgh Steelers fans, Craig Roberts and his son Andrew, had stopped by the Hall on their way to Cleveland for the Week 11 Steelers vs. Browns game. When contacted that they were the winners, after stunned silence, Craig revealed that this trip to the Hall almost did not happen. It was his son’s fondest wish to come to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
After their trip to the Super Bowl, Craig shared his experience with the Hall of Fame:
“I am writing to thank you. Thank you for running the 2020 Super Trip Sweepstakes. I won the contest and took my son Andrew with me this past weekend. Well, you were correct on the website when you said it would be “A week like no other”. Every part of our trip was incredible. By attending the Merlin Olsen Super Bowl Luncheon, I was able to meet and speak with Hall of Famers that I idolized over the course of my life. My son and I enjoyed the Gold Jacket Autograph session and Gridiron Glory. As for Sunday, the Gold Jacket Pregame Party was incredible! It was truly a Super Bowl-worthy gathering. We were able to meet Jerry Rice and he took a picture with my son.
Last but obviously not least, my son and I attended the Super Bowl, a sporting event I never had the opportunity to attend. It was the trip of a lifetime, and provided my son and me with a bonding experience we will never forget. Please know that you have a fan for life and I look forward to visiting the Hall of Fame for many years to come.
So once again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”
Thank you Craig for being the perfect choice to give us the chance to Celebrate Excellence Everywhere and be the Most Inspiring Place on Earth!
Next up, a lucky fan will win a trip for 2 to Enshrinement Week Powered by Johnson Controls for registering to participate in the Ford Fan Vote which ended on January 31st. Stay tuned for the announcement to come soon.
