Travis Kelce Sets Milestone for Tight Ends
The Pro Football Hall of Fame recently received the game-worn gloves and shoes of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. These pieces of equipment were used during the Chiefs’ Week 13, 22-16 victory over the Denver Broncos on Dec. 6, 2020.
In the game, Kelce totaled eight receptions for 136 yards and became the first tight end in NFL history to record five seasons of 1,000 yards, a streak dating back to 2016.
Kelce also autographed a football that was included with his shoes and gloves. An inscription on the ball reads, “You have to fight for your right to party!” These items are now on display in the Pro Football Today Gallery.
