Lions Coach Robert Prince Takes the Lead

Now on display at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in the Pro Football Today Gallery is the game-worn visor and polo shirt of Detroit Lions wide receivers coach Robert Prince. These items were worn during the Detroit Lions’ Week 16 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Dec. 26, 2020.

Prince became the first person to assume the role as interim head coach due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Lions head coach Darrell Bevell was unable to perform his regular duties due to being placed on the NFL’s COVID-19 close-contact list.
