Aultman Health Foundation Extends Partnership with Pro Football Hall of Fame
Aultman Health Foundation will be the official health system of the Pro Football Hall of Fame for at least the next three years under an agreement announced today.
Based in Canton only a few miles from the Hall, the growing Aultman system has been providing expert medical services in a full range of specialty areas for nearly 130 years, combining the latest technologies with the exceptional care of its dedicated staff.
Aultman also is among the renowned group of facilities offering health care as one of 12 founding network service providers across the country working with Hall of Fame Health, an affiliate of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Aultman Health Foundation, a not-for-profit organization, ranks as Stark County’s largest employer. It has been a longtime supporter of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
“We have a long, distinguished history of providing health care services to the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the surrounding communities,” said Jim Harris, Vice President, Aultman Health Foundation. “We look forward to building on that legacy and are proud to be the official health system of the Hall.”
Aultman Hospital opened its doors in Canton in 1892 with 40 rooms capable of accommodating 56 patients. Today, the system serves thousands of patients each day at four additional hospitals in the region, at affiliated doctors’ offices and through collaborations with partner providers across Ohio.
Aultman Health Foundation also includes the locally managed health insurance provider AultCare, which has more than 110,000 commercial members and 17,000 Medicare members. AultCare’s Primetime Health Plan, a Medicare Advantage organization, is a 4.5-star leading Medicare plan in Ohio that was recently recognized by U.S. News and World Report as one of Ohio’s best insurance companies in 2021.
“The Pro Football Hall of Fame and Aultman Health Foundation share common values, especially those based on respect,” said Pat Lindesmith, Chief Partnership Officer & Senior Vice President of Gold Jacket Relations at the Hall. “This partnership will allow us to continue to serve our Hall of Famers and to support Enshrinement Week Powered by Johnson Controls, the Black College Football Hall of Fame Classic and the many other events that reflect our Mission.”
Aultman also helps prepare future health care professionals through Aultman College, and The Aultman Foundation helps support the organization’s efforts through giving, grants and the community relations and fundraising work of the Women’s Board of Aultman Hospital.
