HOF Health Announces Additional Providers Joining Nationwide Network

Five of the country’s premier medical care organizations are joining Hall of Fame Health’s rapidly expanding network of providers, bringing to 17 the number of sites offering services to any former National Football League player or NFL team employee and their families.

Last October, Hall of Fame Health announced 12 “founding partners” in its care network – top-rated hospitals, academic medical centers, physician groups and orthopedic specialists in areas of the country with a high concentration of NFL retirees who can benefit from their services. Today’s announcement pulls in additional areas of the country where former players, their spouses and eligible dependents reside.

Joining the Hall of Fame Health network are:

Flagler Health : A total care enterprise based in St. Augustine, Fla., aimed at advancing the physical, social and economic health of Northeast Florida communities. From working with area schools to address youth behavioral health to bringing a new concept in health villages throughout the region, Flagler Health is building healthier communities. Flagler Health is an extension of Flagler Hospital, which has a 130-year legacy of caring for the community.

NorthShore University HealthSystem: Headquartered in Evanston, Ill., NorthShore is a fully integrated health care delivery system that includes six hospitals providing clinical excellence and community-focused care across Chicagoland. OhioHealth: Based in Columbus, OhioHealth is a nationally recognized, not-for-profit, charitable, health care outreach of the United Methodist Church. Proliance Surgeons: Proliance Surgeons is a team of independent, physician-led care centers dedicated to providing exceptional outcomes, personally delivered with 450 providers, including 250 board-certified physicians, providing care at more than 100 care centers and Ambulatory Surgical Centers in Washington state. By participating with the Hall of Fame Health program, we help former players and their families in need of specialty care, such as orthopedics, sports medicine and spine health.

Twin Cities Orthopedics (TCO): One of the largest physician-owned and physician-led orthopedic practices in the country, with 120 physicians and 35 locations across Minnesota and western Wisconsin. TCO is the official sports medicine provider of the Minnesota Vikings, and 99% of patients would recommend TCO to family and friends.

Hall of Fame Health has announced other partnerships and associations to build a full spectrum of services promoting physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.

An associated entity, Hall of Fame Benefits, provides concierge services to assist with purchasing insurance; Smith Nephew joined Hall of Fame Health as the official joint replacement provider; and most recently, Hall of Fame Behavioral Health announced partnerships with Array Behavioral Care and the Special Forces Foundation.

Hall of Fame Health, its network providers and its partners furnish a variety of services, some designed to fill gaps in existing coverage for patients, along with concierge services to help patients navigate the often-challenging landscape of health care. Offerings complement services the NFL provides in the 30 cities where franchises are located.

Today’s announcement of additional providers in the Hall of Fame Health network is the latest development in the partnership the Pro Football Hall of Fame and Sovereign Healthcare formed in January 2020 to develop services and solutions to address the health and wellness needs of former players and their families. Access to top-tier providers across the country was established as a primary goal.

The broad undertaking of Hall of Fame Health will include additional health care services and benefits, innovative new business ventures, partnering with market leaders in various go-to-market strategies, coordinating game-changing research and raising funds for those in need of financial assistance or services.
