Displays honoring the three newest members of the Ford Hall of Fans, Class of 2021 inductees Kristi Brown (Arizona Cardinals), Wayne Mabry (Las Vegas Raiders) and Ray Prisby (Cleveland Browns) were unveiled Friday morning during a ceremony at the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

The three inductees, representing some of the most passionate fans in the NFL, were in Canton for their recognition. David Baker, President & CEO of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and Scott Denby, Marketing and Strategy Development Manager at Ford Motor Co., presented each inductee with a prestigious Ford Hall of Fans Blue Jacket and Ring during the ceremony.

“Every Hall of Famer enshrined in Canton knows he didn’t get there alone,” Baker said. “Somewhere along the way, he needed the enthusiasm, passion and positive energy of his team’s fans to provide that extra lift to achieve an incredibly elite level of excellence. The Hall of Fame is proud to welcome three more ‘super fans’ who faithfully and avidly represent their teams at the highest level of fandom – Kristi, Wayne and Ray – into the Ford Hall of Fans.”

Brown, a former Arizona Cardinals cheerleader, works as a labor and delivery nurse. She is a second-generation season-ticket holder and devoted Cardinals training camp attendee. After her son was diagnosed with Chiari Malformation, Brown’s biggest passion now is raising awareness to help find a cure for the disease.

Mabry, aka “Violator,” is a 37-year season-ticket holder spends two hours on face-painting and wardrobe perfecting in order to transform into the silver-and-black character commonly seen at Raiders games. He believes in the unifying power of football and fandom. He often finds time to help feed veterans or lend a hand to kids battling cancer, autism or cerebral palsy.

Prisby, aka “Showdawg,” wears only the colors brown and orange and has an encyclopedic knowledge of Browns history and statistics. Since 1961, the U.S. Air Force veteran has assembled an extensive memorabilia collection that was featured on “Ball Boys” and included in the Cleveland Browns museum at FirstEnergy Stadium.

“The Ford Hall of Fans was created to spotlight all of the passionate fans of the NFL,” Denby said.“We’re excited for Kristi, Wayne and Ray to be recognized for their devotion to the teams they love and cheer for every Sunday.”

The Ford Hall of Fans, in partnership with the Pro Football Hall of Fame, celebrates the passion that everyday heroes bring to football. The honorees were informed of their nominations in February with a celebratory knock on the door from Baker in Tampa, Fla, site of Super Bowl LV.

The first two Ford Hall of Fans classes were selected in 2019 and 2020 and are honored at the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Last year’s honorees were Janel Carbajo, aka “Puppet Lady,” a Kansas City Chiefs fan; Rob Garner, aka “Rescue Rob,” a Denver Broncos fan; and Keith Kunzig, aka “Big Nasty,” a fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The inaugural class consisted of Roger Avila, aka “Dolphin Maniac,” a Miami Dolphins fan; Rick Holman, a Pittsburgh Steelers fan; and Don “The Bearman” Wachter, a Chicago Bears fan.

Ford Hall of Fans is accepting nominations for the next class of superfans. Fans can submit 30-second personal testimonials inside the Pro Football Hall of Fame at the Ford Hall of Fans display or enter online at Fordhalloffans.com/football.
