Edgerrin James & Peyton Manning to Receive Pro Football HOF Ring of Excellence

The Pro Football Hall of Fame and Kay^® Jewelers, the Official Provider of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Ring of Excellence, will join in honoring Centennial Class of 2020 Enshrinee EDGERRIN JAMES and Class of 2021 Enshrinee PEYTON MANNING on Sunday, Sept. 19, when the Indianapolis Colts host the Los Angeles Rams.

Fans at the Week 2 matchup will witness James and Manning receive their Hall of Fame Ring of Excellence during a special halftime presentation. Hall of Fame President & CEO David Baker will present James and Manning with their respective rings. The game is slated to kick off at 1 p.m. ET at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The Hall of Fame Ring of Excellence is one of three iconic symbols, along with the Hall of Fame Gold Jacket created by Haggar and the Bronzed Bust, that represent the elite status of being a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. James and Manning received their respective Hall of Fame Gold Jacket and unveiled their Bronzed Busts during the 2021 Enshrinement Week Powered by Johnson Controls in early August.

All three representations of membership in sports’ most exclusive club will be displayed during special halftime presentations for the teams’ fans to pay tribute to these Hall of Famers. 

“I will always cherish my years with the Colts. I was born and raised in South Florida, so coming to the Midwest was a whole different experience for me. To the city of Indianapolis: Thank you for embracing me,” James stated during his Enshrinement speech.

“To Jim Irsay and the Indianapolis Colts organization: My gratitude is off the charts. You drafted me in 1998, and it was a joy and a privilege to represent the horseshoe,” Manning shared during his Enshrinement speech.

HALL OF FAME RING OF EXCELLENCE

The Hall of Fame Ring of Excellence is created by Kay^® Jewelers. The spectacular Hall of Fame Ring of Excellence is set in 14K gold with a total diamond weight of 1.75 carats.
