Jaylen Waddle Impresses in Rookie Season

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle’s jersey is the newest artifact to arrive in Canton from the 2021 NFL season.

In Miami’s Week 18 victory over New England (33-24), Waddle recorded five receptions for 27 yards and a touchdown. He surpassed Anquan Boldin (101 receptions in 2003) for the most receptions by a rookie.

Waddle finished the season with 104 receptions and had seven games with at least eight receptions, which is also the most by a rookie. His jersey is on display in the Hall’s Pro Football Today Gallery, which houses mementos from recent history-making performances.
