'The Mission: Featuring Hall of Fame Presenter Mark Brunell'
Throughout the decades of enshrinements, guests have watched a range of former coaches, teammates, fathers, wives, sons, daughters and even high school principals present the newest members into the esteemed Hall of Fame.
Mark Brunell, Jacksonville Jaguars’ former signal-caller and the Detroit Lions’ new quarterbacks coach, has the honor of presenting his former teammate, Tony Boselli, into the Hall.
Brunell and Boselli played together for the Jaguars from 1995-2001. Boselli protected Brunell as one of the best left tackles in league history. The duo led the expansion Jaguars to the postseason in four consecutive seasons beginning in 1996, a season in which Brunell led the NFL in passing yards with 4,367. He averaged nearly 273 passing yards per game.
“You would think you would be asked to be a Presenter,” Brunell said. “I was TOLD I was going to be a Presenter, and I said, ‘OK, buddy, it will be an honor and privilege.’ ”
