Community Career Fair set for Aug. 31 at Timken Career Campus In Downtown Canton

CANTON, OHIO – The Pro Football Hall of Fame, Black College Football Hall of Fame, OhioMeansJobs of Stark and Tuscarawas Counties, Stark Tuscarawas Workforce Development Board and Strengthening Stark have come together to host the Community Career Fair on Thursday, Aug. 31, as part of the annual Black College Football Hall of Fame Classic.

The Community Career Fair will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. ET at the Timken Career Campus (521 Tuscarawas St. W in Canton).

The Career Fair will feature local employers who are in high-demand industries, promote growth opportunities, have hiring wages minimally starting at $16.50 per hour to provide a sustainable wage for workers and strive to support and engage a diverse workplace.

There will be several community serving entities at the event, such as the Urban League, Goodwill, ICAN and more.
