Pro Football Hall of Fame breaks ground on renovation
When completed next spring, the work will add roughly 7,500 square feet to the Nash Family Event & Conference Center. The project includes Hospitality storage, a new holding kitchen, a food service and prep corridor, public restrooms, a pre-function hallway vestibule and second-floor office space with employee restrooms.
The Nash Family Event & Conference Center will remain open, with limited use and periodic closures due to construction activity.
Other effects of the work include:
- George Halas will be closed and fenced for the duration of the project.
- The mini-turf field will be available throughout construction.
- The stairs leading to the Fan Engagement Zone at Hall of Fame Village will remain open. Pedestrian traffic will be rerouted around the construction fence.
- ADA parking will be removed from the Upper Lot temporarily.
- The pickup/drop-off zone for buses will shift to the east side of the Lower Lot. Parking for buses and RVs will be moved to Stadium Park Lot.
