Hall of Fame receives artifacts from Kyler Murray's 'perfect' game. For the second time in three seasons, the performance of Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray in Week 2 of the NFL season resulted in artifacts being featured in a Pro Football Hall of Fame display.

In the game against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, Sept. 15, Murray became the second player in NFL history with at least 250 passing yards, 50 rushing yards and a “perfect” passer rating of 158.3.

Murray accomplished the feat by throwing for 266 yards and rushing for 59.

Arizona head coach Jonathan Gannon described Murray’s play as “lights out” multiple times, reported AZCardinals.com.

Murray joins former Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Ken Anderson in the record book. He accumulated 297 passing yards, 62 rushing yards and a 158.3 rating on Nov. 3, 1974, at Baltimore. He also joins Pro Football Hall of Famer Kurt Warner as the only two players in Cardinals franchise history to finish a game with a “perfect” pass rating. (minimum 20 attempts)

A game ball and Murray’s jersey from the contest are now on display inside the “Pro Football Today Gallery.”

In 2022, after the Cardinals rallied to beat the Las Vegas Raiders in overtime, a Murray autographed football arrived in Canton. In that game, he became the first player to run and pass for touchdowns and run and pass for 2-point conversions.
