Jared Goff jersey in Canton following ‘perfect’ game
Goff became the first quarterback in NFL history with a perfect completion percentage (with a minimum of 15 attempts). His 292 passing yards before a national television audience on “Monday Night Football” were the most by a quarterback with no incompletions in a game.
In the third quarter, Goff was on the receiving end of a 7-yard touchdown throw from Detroit wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown. Goff reciprocated the receiver’s effort by tossing an 8-yard touchdown to St. Brown in the fourth quarter.
Additionally, Jameson Williams and Goff connected on a 70-yard scoring play in the third quarter.
“He really found his rhythm early, and I thought he was seeing the field, played with rhythm. A number of huge plays. He played with poise,” Lions head coach Dan Campbell said after the game.
The jersey Goff wore during his perfect effort has been placed on display in the Hall of Fame’s “Pro Football Today Gallery.”
