Bo Nix breaks rookie record

Nix wrapped up the 2024 regular season by completing 26 of 29 passes for 321 yards and four touchdowns during the Broncos’ 38-0 Week 18 victory over the Kansas City Chief on Jan. 5, 2025, at Empower Field at Mile High Stadium.
Nix’s 89.7% completion rate is the highest single-game completion percentage by a rookie quarterback (minimum 25 attempts) in NFL history, surpassing the mark of 88.9% set by Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott on Dec. 18, 2016.
Nix began Week 18 by completing his first 18 pass attempts, the most consecutive completions to begin a game by a rookie since at least 1978, NFL.com reported.
For the game, Nix produced a 152.4 quarterback rating.
According to the Broncos’ website, Nix became the first rookie quarterback in NFL history to record multiple games with at least 300 passing yards, four passing touchdowns and a passer rating of at least 140. He also holds the rookie record for the most games with 200 passing yards, two passing touchdowns and no interceptions.
