Stage to be placed on Pro Football Hall Of Fame campus.

Broadcast to air live Thursday, July 31, to open Fan Fest ’25 before Hall of Fame Game featuring Lions, Chargers.

Pat McAfee and ESPN are bringing his popular daily show to Canton, Ohio.

The midday host of “The Pat McAfee Show” made the announcement on his broadcast noon today. He and his team plan to broadcast from the Pro Football Hall of Fame, with the iconic Rotunda dome in the background, on Thursday, July 31, only a few hours before the National Football League kicks off its 106th season.

At 8 p.m., the Detroit Lions and Los Angeles Chargers will meet in the annual Pro Football Hall of Fame Game presented by Novartis.

McAfee’s show also serves as the official opening of Fan Fest ’25 — four days of free events and attractions on the Hall of Fame’s campus from game day through Sunday, Aug. 3, that coincide with Football’s Greatest Weekend presented by Novartis.

“When the Pro Football Hall of Fame began considering ways to open the new Fan Fest with a splash, the immediate thought was to bring ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ to Canton,” said Jim Porter, president & CEO of the Hall. “He couldn’t have been more open to the idea, and we are thrilled for football fans and the millions of fans of his show that this is coming together. What a way to kick off a new football season!”

Road trips are nothing new for McAfee and his show. This week, he broadcast from Atlanta, site of Major League Baseball’s Home Run Derby, on Monday, and he will be in Los Angeles on Wednesday in conjunction with the 2025 ESPYs.

McAfee’s show airs Monday through Friday from noon to 2 p.m. on ESPN, ESPN+ and YouTube, then for an additional hour on ESPN+, Disney+, YouTube and TikTok. Show co-hosts include A.J. Hawk, “Boston” Connor Campbell, Ty Schmit and Anthony “Tone Digz” DiGuilio.

McAfee launched his podcast in 2017 with Barstool Sports, then transitioned to SiriusXM’s Barstool Power 85 and established Pat McAfee Inc. in 2018. He officially moved full time to ESPN in May 2023 and signed a multi-year broadcasting deal.

In 2022, he joined “College Gameday” on ESPN as an analyst. The show airs on Saturdays during the college football season. He brings his own playing experience to the broadcasts. He was an All-American punter at the University of West Virginia and played eight seasons in the NFL, all with the Indianapolis Colts. He was named to the Associated Press All-Pro Team in 2014 and invited to the Pro Bowl in 2014 and 2016.

Information for fans coming to the Hall of Fame campus to view the show, such as when and where they can gather, will be shared at a later date.
