Deebo Samuel jersey, shoes from Jordan Davis added to Hall’s collection
Two more items commemorating notable achievements in the National Football League have been placed on display inside the museum at the Pro Football Hall of Fame.On Oct. 5, 2025, Deebo Samuel Sr. of the Washington Commanders joined exclusive company as one of only three players in the National Football League to reach 5,000 career receiving yards and 1,000 career rushing yards in his first seven pro seasons.
In the game, a 27-10 Commanders victory, Samuel totaled eight receptions for 96 yards and a touchdown to reach the receiving and rushing milestones accomplished previous only by CHARLEY TAYLOR and BOBBY MITCHELL — who both also hit those marks as members of the Washington franchise.
The jersey Samuel wore can be seen in the “Pro Football Today Gallery."
Also on display in the same gallery are the shoes Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Jordan Davis wore when he blocked a potential game-winning field goal and returned it 61 yards for a dramatic touchdown as time expired in the Eagles’ 33-26 victory over the Los Angeles Rams on Sept. 21, 2025.
In the game, Davis and Jalen Carter each blocked a field goal in the fourth quarter against the Rams, making the Eagles the first team since at least 1978 to block two field goals in the fourth quarter of the same game.
Per Next Gen Stats, Davis is the heaviest player (336 pounds) in NFL history to return a blocked kick 50 or more yards for a touchdown, and he reached a top speed of 18.59 mph on the return, the fastest speed by a player over 330 pounds since at least 2017.
