The Oakland Raiders defeated the New York Jets in overtime on Sunday. The ending came in thrilling fashion as kicker Sebastian Janikowski nailed a team-record 57-yard field goal with 2:30 remaining in sudden death to give the Raiders the win.

His three-pointer was also the longest field goal ever kicked in overtime. The previous mark was held by Chris Jacke of the Green Bay Packers who booted a 53-yarder in the Packers’ 23-20 win over the San Francisco 49ers on Oct. 4, 1996.

Janikowski, who had a 56-yard field goal in Week 2 against the Kansas City Chiefs, owns all of the top marks for longest field goals in Raiders history. He has connected from 57, 56, twice from 55 and two times from 54 yards.
