Motorola Solutions Chairman & CEO Greg Brown to chair Hall of Fame's National Advisory Board
10-person panel to help facilitate state-of-the-art transformation of Pro Football Hall of Fame & Museum
Greg Brown, chairman and chief executive officer of Motorola Solutions, will serve as the first chair of the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s National Advisory Board. Brown and nine other executives from across the country will provide guidance and expertise in the Hall of Fame’s transformation. The Hall of Fame team will execute a broad range of projects and initiatives in coming years, including the “Evolve 2030” plan to modernize the museum through a multimillion-dollar investment.
Brown is in his 19th year as CEO of Motorola Solutions, where he is credited with the reinvention of the company. Today, Motorola Solutions is a global leader in safety and security technology for public safety, enterprise security and defense agencies. Chief Executive Magazine recently recognized Brown’s leadership by naming him their 2026 “CEO of the Year.”
“Greg is the ideal leader to help guide the Hall into its next era,” said Jim Porter, president & CEO of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. “His transformative leadership and strategic vision have been invaluable, and I am grateful he accepted the Hall’s invitation to join its National Advisory Board two years ago and now to serve as its first chair.”
Frank Monaco, chair of the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Board of Directors, called the collective experience of the National Advisory Board a great asset for the Hall, saying: “These 10 acclaimed individuals bring a wide range of perspectives and vast knowledge that will help the Hall execute its vision for the future.”
Brown is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and The Business Council. He previously served as chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and chair of the Rutgers University Board of Governors, where he earned his bachelor's degree in economics and an honorary doctorate in humane letters.
