Edward "Dutch" Sternaman was an original member of the Chicago Bears. The franchise began in 1920 as the Decatur Staleys, moved to Chicago in 1921, and changed its nickname to Bears in '22.
Dutch Sternaman was one of the Bears better players during the 1920s. He also served as co-coach and co-owner of the team.
