One of the more unusual objects on our collection is this heating coil used to keep Lambeu Field from freezing. The coil played a significant role in what became known as the "Ice Bowl."

The Packers culminated a 68-yard drive with a 1-yard TD plunge by Bart Starr (15) with 16 seconds remaining on the game clock. The score capped a come-from-behind victory for Green Bay who would go on to defeat the Oakland Raiders in Super Bowl II.
