Bobby Mitchell started his NFL career with the Browns from 1958 to 1961.
Bobby's one of those guys who returns every summer for our Enshrinement Festival. But, we see him a lot at other times also. Here, he's shown a few years ago when he spoke to students at the Hall as part of our Educational Program's Black History seminar.
Bobby always supports the Hall of Fame by playing in our annual Golf Classic that raises funds to operate the museum. Here he's shown on the putting green at Glenmoor Country Club in Canton as fellow HOFers (L-R) Elvin Bethea, Joe DeLamielleure (partially hidden), Bobby Bell, and Jan Stenerud heckle, I mean, look on.
Bobby played in Washington from 1962-68. Here he takes a handoff from fellow HOFers Sonny Jurgensen.
