Setting up in North Texas

Two of our staff members, Curator Jason Aikens and Researcher Saleem Choudhry flew to Dallas yesterday. They made their travel arrangements so they were sure to arrive in town in time to watch the two conference championship games on TV.

Then, this morning, they got busy at the Dallas Convention Center as they’re working to install the expansive Pro Football Hall of Fame exhibit at the NFL Experience. The exhibit is part of the huge event that will greet the thousands of fans taking part in the Super Bowl XLV celebration.  Hundreds of workers are on site to get the NFL Experience ready to open this Thursday.

Each year, we exhibit many great pieces from our collection. This year, for the time, we’ll be placing on display all seven busts of the Class of 2010 enshrinees. This marks the first time ever that we’ve had an entire Class of busts on display outside of the Hall of Fame.
