NFL Power Rankings Week 11

 

Week 10 was the perfect slate of games for football fans.

Outside of the Ravens and Falcons blowout wins, every other game was decided by eight points or less.

As the cherry on top, the 49ers and Seahawks put on a Monday Night Football classic that will have a ripple effect throughout the rest of the season.

After a wild week of action, here are your Power Rankings for Week 11 of the NFL season from HOF Experiences.

Week 11 Power Rankings

1. San Francisco 49ers (8-1)

Week 11 Opponent: vs. Arizona Cardinals (3-6-1)

It took one of the wildest NFL games in recent memory for the 49ers to finally lose.

In a preview of the Week 17 battle that will likely determine the NFC West winner, the Seattle Seahawks handed San Francisco its first loss of the season, 27-24, on Sunday night.

San Francisco jumped out to an exciting 10-0 lead early, but a fumble resulting in a 10-yard touchdown return for Jadeveon Clowney flipped the game on its head and into Seattle’s favor.

The game went into overtime, where a Russell Wilson interception set the 49ers up for a game-winning field goal, but Chase McLaughlin missed the kick to keep his team perfect.

Jimmy Garoppolo missed his favorite targets in injured tight end George Kittle and Emmanuel Sanders (who left the game in the first quarter), ending the game with a mediocre 24-for-48 passing line.

But a dramatic overtime loss to the other top contender in the NFC is not enough to move the 49ers away from the top position just yet.

2. Baltimore Ravens (7-2)

Week 11 Opponent: vs. Houston Texans (6-3)

Explosive is an understatement when talking about how this Ravens offense has been playing.

Lamar Jackson continued his MVP campaign with a dominant performance in Baltimore’s 49-13 drubbing of the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.

After impressing against the AFC’s final undefeated team the week prior, Jackson dazzled against the conference’s last winless team with 223 yards on 15-for-17 passing and 65 rushing yards on seven carries.

His 88-percent completion percentage was a single-game record for the Ravens and earned Jackson his second perfect passer rating of the season.

No team has been able to solve the riddle of Jackson yet this season and it’s the reason that Baltimore is currently the team to beat in the AFC.

3. New England Patriots (8-1)

Last Week’s Ranking: 2

Week 11 Opponent: at Philadelphia Eagles (5-4)

The Patriots drop down a spot this week without even playing a game, which is more a commentary on how well the Ravens are playing than about New England during its time off.

New England has a chance to rebound from its first loss of the season this weekend against a familiar foe in Philadelphia.

4. Seattle Seahawks (8-2)

Last Week’s Ranking: 5

Week 11 Opponent: BYE

The Seattle Seahawks may never play a normal game again this season, and that’s A-OK.

For the second straight week, Seattle needed time past four quarters to secure a victory.

Russell Wilson went 24-for-34 with 232 passing yards and a touchdown, but it was his overtime interception that seemed likely to drown the Seahawks. Luckily for Wilson, the 49ers missed a game-winning kick and he was able to drive his side back down the field to set up the winning field goal.

Seattle debuted newly acquired receiver Josh Gordon this week, who was picked up off waivers from New England two weeks ago. Gordon played in limited snaps but caught two passes for 27 yards on two targets.

5. Green Bay Packers (8-2)

Week 11 Opponent: BYE

The Frozen Tundra lived up to its name in the Green Bay Packers 24-16 win over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.

The game started under normal conditions, but a late snowstorm entering Lambeau Field in the fourth quarter helped push Green Bay to victory.

Aaron Rodgers continued his steady campaign for MVP with 233 passing yards, but the day belonged to Aaron Jones and the Packers rushing attack. Jones diced up Carolina on the ground, rushing for 93 yards and three scores on just 13 carries.

Davante Adams put up another 100-plus receiving yard game as well, proving that this Green Bay offense is equally dangerous on both levels.
