A Little About
Browns Bye Week Bash Tailgate for the Troops

Just because this is the Browns bye week doesn’t mean you have to go without Browns football!

Browns fans unite during the Browns bye week to help three great military support organizations this Veteran’s Day on a very special day at the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The Browns Backers Bash Tailgate for the Troops will feature Northeast Ohio’s largest Cleveland Browns bye week tailgate party.  All Browns Backers, Browns fans, and fans of pro football are invited to be a part of the day’s festivities, which will include four Cleveland Browns alumni: running back Eric Metcalf, wide receivers Webster Slaughter and Reggie Langhorne and defensive back Ernie Kellerman.

The Browns Bye Week Bash Tailgate for the Troops at the Pro Football Hall of Fame kicks off at 9 a.m. and is open to the public until 5 p.m.

A Chinese raffle of amazing prizes will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. inside the new Event Center located in the Ralph Wilson Jr. Pro Football Research and Preservation Center. Proceeds from the raffle will benefit four military support organizations:  Ohio Combat Veterans, The Arms Forces, Valor Home and The Andy Nowacki Foundation. Special recognition of these four organizations will be from noon to 1 p.m. on the Hall of Fame tailgate plaza hosted by the Ohio Military Family Connection.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame will be serving draft beers and delicious tailgate food provided by the Barley House in Akron. Food and beverages will be available to purchase throughout the day on the Hall of Fame tailgate plaza. Fans can participate in the Browns tailgate auto show featuring an amazing array of tailgating vehicles and are encouraged to stop by the Browns Backers booth to become a Browns Backer or learn more about your Browns Backers benefits. Fans can also toss the football around on the new outdoor turf field and enjoy inflatable activities on the field.

With each regular priced adult admission to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, fans who wear Cleveland Browns apparel will have $4 of their admission price donated by the Pro Football Hall of Fame to the Ohio Combat Veterans, The Arms Forces, Valor Home and The Andy Nowacki Foundation in equal distribution.  Wear your Browns gear and support the troops! Each admitted fan will receive a wristband for privileges to enter, exit, and re-enter the Pro Football Hall of Fame throughout the day.

From 1-3 p.m., fans will have the chance to meet four prominent Cleveland Browns Alumni inside the Hall of Fame’s new Event Center.  Cleveland Browns running back Eric Metcalf, wide receivers Webster Slaughter and Reggie Langhorne and defensive back Ernie Kellerman will be on hand to meet Browns fans.  Celebrate the heritage of two great eras of Cleveland Browns football with these four Browns players.
