Gold Jacket Andre Tippett Testifies at State House for License Plate Decals

Gold Jacket Andre Tippett gave his everything on the field for New England Patriots fans. After his playing career ended, he still continued to give back to Patriot Nation as the Executive Director of Community Affairs and work with the Pro Football Hall of Fame. This spring he will be presenting two PFHOF US Army Award of Excellence Finalists Claire Jones and Lauren Jacobsen with plaques in school ceremonies in Council Bluffs, Iowa and Wisner, Nebraska.

He recently testified before the Senate Transportation Committee to create an amendment to add the New England Patriots Charitable Foundation to the authorized list of decals for multi-use motor vehicle license plates in New Hampshire. This would help local charities benefit from the Patriots Charitable Foundation.

“When Robert Kraft bought the Patriots organization, his first piece of business was to establish the charitable foundation, and that’s indicative of who he is,” said Tippett. “It’s been one of my greatest joys since retirement to be involved in our community affairs, getting our players involved and being able to represent all six New England states.”
