The shoes worn by placekicker Mike Vanderjagt during the 2003 NFL season (right)  arrived at the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Wednesday.

Vanderjagt set the NFL record for consecutive field goals when he converted 41 straight three-pointers. The record broke the mark set by Gary Anderson who kicked 40 consecutive field goals.

Vanderjagt's record kick came on a 43-yard game-winnnig field goal that gave the Colts' a 20-17 win over the Houston Texans in the regular season finale on December 28 at Reliant Stadium.

The sixth-year kicker is the fourth kicker in NFL history to go through an entire season without missing a field goal attempt.  He also became just the third kicker who did not record a single miss during an NFL season.

He was good on 37 of 37 field goals and all 46 extra point attempts during the 2003 season as he racked up 157 points for Indianapolis.
