HOF unveils bridge project
The Pro Football Hall of Fame and Stark County, Ohio unveiled an exciting and ambitious new joint venture project during a luncheon at the Hall on Wednesday.
Hall of Fame President John Bankert and Stark County Engineer Mike Rehfus unveiled a model of a dynamic bridge that will be constructed on Interstate 77. The bridge will greet millions of travelers who enter Stark County by way of Interstate 77 each year.
"The bridge project is a unique and attractive way to promote the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the greater Stark County community," stated Bankert. "This is an excellent example of how the private and public sector can work together in promoting Ohio as a travel destination."
The bridge will replace the existing structure on Dressler Road which crosses Interstate 77 just north of the Hall of Fame.
