Open practice sessions draw big crowds
The Miami Dolphins and St. Louis Rams arrived in Canton Sunday to practice at Fawcett Stadium just outside the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Open to the public, the afternoon practice sessions drew thousands of fans eager to see NFL action after the long summer offseason.
Dolphins and Rams fans from around the country took in the action after Saturday's Hall of Fame enshrinement ceremonies honoring the Class of 2001 featuring Rams' legend Jack Youngblood and Miami great Nick Buoniconti.
Rams' running back Marshall Faulk and Dolphins' head coach Dave Wannstedt each took time to address the public before their team's practice. The Miami Dolphins cheerleaders were also on hand to entertain the crowd.
