Sports Museum of America Celebrates the Pro Football Hall of Fame
Pro Football Hall of Famers, Authentic Super Bowl Artifacts, Highlight Videos and Trivia Games To Be Included in the Festivities at the SmA on Saturday, September 13
The Sports Museum of America (SmA) has announced that New York football greats Harry Carson (Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2006), Bruce Harper, Sean Landeta and Don Maynard (Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 1987), rare football artifacts and memorabilia from the Pro Football Hall of Fame and an authentic collection of all NFL Super Bowl rings are among the many attractions and exhibits to be on display when the “Sports Museum of America Celebrates the Pro Football Hall of Fame” - a special event taking place inside the Sports Museum, located in lower Manhattan, on Saturday, September 13, from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.
A special reduced ticket price ($19 adults, $15 children) for the event will allow admission to the Sports Museum for the day and participation in the hall of fame festivities. Visitors will also receive a discounted coupon to the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the opportunity to enter for a chance to win a trip for two to the 2009 Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival Weekend courtesy of American Airlines and Courtyard Marriott.

The players will be available at select times during the event for free autographs and photos: Maynard from 10:30 am–1:00 pm, Harper from 10:30 am–1:30 pm, Carson from 1:30 pm–3:30 pm and Landeta from 2:00 pm–4:00 pm.

Other attractions featured in the event will include the Hall of Fame busts of Carson and Maynard rarely seen outside of Canton, Michael Strahan’s custom-made Orange County Chopper signed by the Giants Super Bowl Team, giant video screens playing footage of pro football highlights, visitor trivia challenge with the American Tailgaters Association, and a display from Pop Warner and USA Football.
