HIDDEN TREASURES

The Pro Football Hall of Fame's archives is home to the vast majority of the museum’s collection with approximately 90 percent of the mementos housed in this area.

"The archives is actually the ideal place for these items from a preservation aspect," commented Jason Aikens, the Hall’s collections curator. "In reality, the best thing for our mementos is for them not to see the light of day. But, nobody learns anything from them unless we share them with the public."

ITEM: 1951 Green Bay Packers jersey. DESCRIPTION: Light green jersey with yellow trim worn by Hall of Famer Tony Canadeo. DONOR: Tony Canadeo
	Drafted in the ninth round by the Green Bay Packers in 1941, Canadeo quickly became a star on both sides of the football and on special teams. He excelled as a runner and became the first 1,000-yard rusher in Packers history. Canadeo earned All-NFL status twice in his career.
