Community representatives along with Hall of Fame officials participated in the dedication of the Hall of Fame Bridge.
A great new landmark to the Canton/Stark County community, the new Pro Football Hall of Fame Bridge that spans I-77 has been added to the community's landscape. The bridge, located just north of the museum, will greet the tens of thousands of daily travelers along the interstate.

The concept of the attractive structure was thought of by the Stark County Engineer who first contacted the Hall of Fame in 2000 with the idea of adding an aesthetic treatment to the future bridge.

The Hall of Fame and its Board of Trustees decided to move forward with financing the plan. The dream became reality through the dedicated efforts of several partners - the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Stark County Engineer, Ohio Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration, and related agencies.

A distinguished group of community and project leaders addressed invited guests who were on hand for Monday's dedication ceremony. The event was capped by a ceremonial "drive through" ribbon cutting that featured the Hall of Fame's 1920 Hupmobile.
