Contest winner receives flat screen TV
John Lewis from Somerset, Massachusetts, was the lucky winner of the Predict the Class of 2008 Contest presented by Samsung.
As the contest’s winner, Lewis – a self-proclaimed Minnesota Vikings fan who also roots for the New England Patriots – will receive a beautiful Samsung 32” LCD HDTV. Lewis had responded to an e-newsletter from the Hall of Fame announcing the contest and promptly visited Profootballhof.com to submit his prediction.

The Predict the Class of 2008 Contest presented by Samsung ran on the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s website from mid-January through Saturday, Feb. 2 when the newest class of enshrinees was elected. Entrants from all 50 states and several foreign countries participated in the contest.
Fred Dean, Darrell Green, Art Monk, Emmitt Thomas, Andre Tippett, and Gary Zimmerman were elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday. The group will be formally enshrined into the Hall of Fame in Canton on Saturday, August 2.
Colts vs. Redskins in '08 HOF Game
The NFL will kick off the 2008 preseason in Canton, Ohio, when the Indianapolis Colts and Washington Redskins meet in the annual Pro Football Hall of Fame Game. The game will be televised nationally on NBC's Sunday Night Football.
Class of 2008 Announced
The Pro Football Hall of Fame added six new members on Saturday, Feb. 2.<p> Defensive end Fred Dean, cornerback Darrell Green, wide receiver Art Monk, cornerback Emmitt Thomas, linebacker Andre Tippett, and tackle Gary Zimmerman make up the Class of 2008 Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrinees.
