Joe Foss Letter

Joe Foss, the former commissioner of the American Football League is one of only three members of the military with football connections to earn their country's highest military honor - the Congressional Medal of Honor. 

Foss, a highly decorated World War II veteran, penned this letter to NFL Commissioner Pete Rozelle issuing a challenge for a joint game between the two leagues.
