Prints of Les Richter
These drawings of Rams linebacker Les Richter were created by the noted artist/photographer Dave Boss.
Boss was awarded the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s prestigious Daniel F. Reeves Pioneer Award in 1992. The honor is periodically granted to an individual whose innovative ideas have contributed to the game of professional football. Boss spent 26 years with NFL Creative Services from 1965 to 1991 during which time he redesigned the NFL’s logo as well as many NFL teams, produced the Super Bowl programs, spearheaded the NFL’s renowned licensing and promotions programs, and initiated the idea of augmenting team programs with national editorial and advertising reprinting.
