LeBeau to get Hall of Fame ring

Class of 2010 enshrinee Dick LeBeau will become the fourth member of the Hall of Fame's most recent class to receive his Hall of Fame ring. He'll get the piece of jewelry at halftime of the Detroit Lions game on Sunday.

{GALLERY}LeBeau, who was enshrined last August for his contributions as a cornerback for the Lions from 1959 to 1972, will receive his ring from the Pro Football Hall of Fame's President/Executive Director Steve Perry during a halftime ceremony at Ford Field in Detroit.

The ring signifies the third and last iconic symbol presented to LeBeau in recognition of his induction into the Hall of Fame. The other two symbols are the gold Hall of Fame jacket and LeBeau's bronze bust. LeBeau received his gold jacket at the annual Enshrinees Dinner held in Canton on the night before his enshrinement. Dick and his brother Bob LeBeau, who served as his presenter, unveiled the bronze bust together during the Enshrinement ceremony held on August 7.

In what has become tradition for the Hall of Fame ring ceremonies, all three of the iconic symbols representing LeBeau's enshrinement will be on display at Ford Field on Sunday. LeBeau will be dressed in his gold jacket and his bronze bust will be displayed during the ceremony. It marks a rare time that a bronze bust is put on display outside of the Hall of Fame in Canton.

LeBeau, who currently serves as defensive coordinator for the Pittsburgh Steelers, will enjoy his bye week by also being added to the "Pride of the Lions," the Lions' permanent display at Ford Field honoring the greatest players in franchise history.

Three other members of the Class of 2010 – Rickey Jackson, Jerry Rice and Floyd Little – received their rings in recent weeks during ceremonies held in New Orleans, San Francisco, and Denver respectively.
