Hall Info

Each year, fans travel from all 50 states in the U.S. and upwards of 60 foreign countries to visit the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Most, upon arrival, take a moment to take a photo next to the Hall’s familiar sign on the front steps. From there, they glance up at the iconic entrance to the museum whose façade includes three large figures of football players.
Guests to the Hall of Fame will notice a special shine to them. The figures were temporarily removed from the building last week. The large copper artwork was refurbished after having not been treated in more than 20 years. Oxidation resulted in discoloration of them over time.
The copper figures, with their original copper shine, were welded back onto the Hall of Fame’s main entrance on Monday morning.
