Pro Football Hall of Fame receiver James Lofton began Sunday as the Green Bay Packers' all-time leader in receiving yardage. That changed when veteran WR Donald Driver made his lone catch in yesterday's win over the Carolina Panthers. His 10-yard gain on the reception gave him a career total of 9,666 receiving yards which broke the 9,656 yards that Lofton amassed while wearing a Packers uniform.
With Driver surpassing Lofton's mark now only seven NFL teams have a Hall of Famer who owns the club's record for career receiving yardage.
Don Maynard, New York Jets

Lance Alworth, San Diego Chargers
9,584 (1962-1970)
Steve Largent, Seattle Seahawks

Ozzie Newsome, Cleveland Browns

Veteran kicker Jason Hanson set the NFL record for most games played for a single team. He participated in his 297th game for Detroit on Sunday as he scored 12 points to help the Lions to a 48-3 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. He snapped the record held by Hall of Famer Bruce Matthews who played in 296 games for the Houston Oilers/Tennessee Oilers/Tennessee Titans.
The Lions win was also the franchise's biggest margin of victory in a regular season game. The Lions began as the Portsmouth (Ohio) Spartans in 1930.
Meanwhile, the Minnesota Vikings Adrian Peterson added his name to another team record when he scored a pair of touchdowns on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. His scores gave him 54 career rushing touchdowns to surpass the total shared by Chuck Foreman and Bill Brown.
