Steelers rookies drop by HOF
The rookie class for the Pittsburgh Steelers took a two-hour bus ride to the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Friday, June 1. The NFL hopefuls, who included all drafted and free agent rookies, were given a welcome by the Hall of Fame’s President/Executive Director Steve Perry. The group then embarked on a guided tour to learn about the growth of pro football since its birth in 1892.
During the tour the Steelers spent a great deal of time in the Hall of Fame Gallery to learn about the greats of the game. Later in the Lamar Hunt Super Bowl Gallery, the rookies posed for a photo around the ultimate team prize, the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
