Artifacts from Super Bowl
Each year, the Pro Football Hall of Fame adds numerous mementos to its collection from the most recent Super Bowl. This year was no exception as many artifacts from the Baltimore Ravens thrilling victory over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XLVII have been sent to the Hall of Fame.
Last week, the Hall of Fame received a shipment from the NFL office that included a pylon used in the game played at the Mercedes Benz Superdome in New Orleans, La.; Super Bowl XLVII patch; a penalty flag used by side judge Joe Larrew; a game used football; an official stadium edition program and three signed footballs. The balls include the signatures of both teams, the Ravens and 49ers, and the third ball was signed by halftime performer Beyoncé.
