The NYPD Finest, a semiprofessional football team, took a special detour en route to Warren, Ohio to visit the Pro Football Hall of Fame Friday afternoon.
The football team consists of New York City law enforcement who tour the United States playing full contact football while off duty. They are part of the National Public Safety League, which is comprised of teams with firefighters, police officers and military members who donate their free time to play football for charity. Through ticket sales the league has helped those who are less fortunate.
